By creating an account, accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing or using Wilo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including students, educators, professionals in retraining and families managing multiple learner profiles. If you use Wilo on behalf of an organization (school, company, etc.), you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization.
2. Description of Service
Wilo is a SaaS educational platform powered by AI, accessible worldwide, that enables users to:
- Import educational content through photos (OCR), PDFs, audio transcription or free-form topics
- Generate structured courses, summaries, flashcards, quizzes, exercises and explanations using artificial intelligence models
- Manage multiple learner profiles within a single account (for example, for a family)
- Organize content by courses, folders, subjects and tags, and track revision progress
- Access the Service via a web application and, where applicable, via mobile applications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice, in particular for technical, security, legal or product-improvement reasons.
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
Access to the Service requires the creation of a user account. You are solely responsible for keeping your credentials (email address, password, third-party authentication methods) confidential and for all activities carried out from your account and any learner profiles attached to it.
- Provide accurate, current and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date
- Not share your login credentials with third parties and take all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access to your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized or suspicious use of your account or any security breach
- Ensure that all content you import or create through Wilo complies with applicable laws and does not infringe third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, personality rights, etc.)
- Use the Service only for lawful educational purposes and refrain from any abusive use (for example: illegal or hateful content, spam, attempts at reverse engineering, overload of systems)
- Where you operate a family or multi-profile account, ensure that minors use the Service under your supervision and in compliance with applicable child protection laws
4. User Content and Intellectual Property
You retain all intellectual property rights in the content you import, upload or create through the Service (notes, documents, photos, audio recordings, text, questions, courses, flashcards, quizzes, etc.) ("User Content"). By providing User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, revocable and royalty-free license to host, store, process, analyze, technically modify, display and reproduce such content solely for the purposes of providing the Service, ensuring its security, improving its features and complying with our legal obligations.
We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to remove any User Content that violates these Terms, applicable law or is manifestly inappropriate, and, where relevant, to suspend or terminate the related account.
5. AI-Generated Content
Wilo uses artificial intelligence models provided by third-party vendors to generate educational content (courses, summaries, flashcards, quizzes, explanations, corrections, etc.) based on your User Content and instructions. While we strive to select high-quality models and design pedagogical prompts, AI-generated content may contain errors, approximations or bias. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content is provided "as is" and must always be reviewed and checked before any use, in particular in an academic or professional context
- AI-generated content does not constitute legal, medical or professional advice, nor certified teaching material
- We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or suitability of AI-generated content for an examination, a syllabus or any specific situation
- You remain solely responsible for the way you use AI-generated content (for example, to prepare for an exam, write an assignment or teach third parties)
6. Subscription and Payment
Wilo operates on a freemium model with a free plan and one or more paid plans (monthly or yearly). The prices, limits and features of each offer are specified on our website or in the application at the time of subscription. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:
- Pay all fees associated with your subscription plan, at the price and in the currency indicated at checkout
- Authorize, where applicable, the automatic renewal of your subscription at the end of each billing period, unless cancelled before the indicated date
- Comply with the conditions set by the payment provider or distribution platform (for example, mobile app store, online payment provider)
- Acknowledge that promotional offers or free trials may be subject to specific conditions communicated at the time of the offer
Unless otherwise stated, prices are inclusive of applicable taxes for consumers located in the European Union. You are responsible for any additional taxes, duties or banking fees that may be applied by your institution or jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protection rules, including any right of withdrawal for digital services, are presented at checkout when required by law.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Wilo and its affiliates, officers, employees and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be available at all times, uninterrupted, secure or error‑free
- The results obtained from using the Service (including AI-generated content) will be accurate, complete or fit for a particular examination or your personal objectives
- Any defect, bug or vulnerability in the Service will be corrected within a specific timeframe
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account, certain profiles or your access to all or part of the Service, with or without notice, in case of breach of these Terms, suspicion of abuse, fraud, unlawful use, or in order to comply with a legal obligation or an administrative or court decision. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service ceases immediately for the affected account or profiles
- We may delete or anonymize your account and/or User Content, subject to our legal retention obligations
- You remain liable for all amounts due up to the effective date of termination and no prorated refund is owed, except where otherwise required by mandatory law or expressly stated at the time of subscription
You may cancel your paid subscription and/or delete your account at any time from the application settings or by contacting us. Deleting an account or profile is permanent and results in the loss of associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without prejudice to any mandatory, more protective provision that may apply in your country of residence if you are a consumer (including, in particular, within the European Union, Canada or the United States of America).
Any dispute relating to the validity, interpretation or performance of these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts within the jurisdiction of Montpellier, France, without prejudice to the rights granted to consumers to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence in accordance with European Union law and, where applicable, any mandatory consumer protection rules in their country of residence (including in Canada and the United States of America).

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, applicable legal or regulatory requirements, or our internal practices.
